Recognizing that transformative change must be built around the future generation, GREENWILL has added a “GREENWILL for Kids” program to its intervention portfolio.The program targets grades K-12 and features interactive, participatory presentations and activities to help put young folks (and their parents & teachers) on a path towards a greener future.

Children are exposed to basic concepts and practices that will help them lead a greener lifestyle -- at home, in school and elsewhere. For young children this means learning about where energy comes from, putting together a personal list of ways they can be greener, sorting recyclables, creating arts and crafts from recyclable goods, and other fun activities. The level of discussion changes depending on the age group.

GREENWILL for Kids sessions last up to one hour per class. Parents and school administrators are invited to join if they wish. Participants receive a GREENWILL Certificate at the end.
